An overwhelming one in three women experiences violence at the hands of a partner in their lifetime, with the rates increasing during the COVID-19 pandemic. To mark International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women last week, Yves Saint Laurent Beauty launched a global campaign ‘Abuse Is Not Love’. YSL pledges to fund academic research, train its employees, and educate two million people by 2030 on Intimate Partner Violence (or IPV), through various partnerships with non-profit organisations.

Another stellar collab is coming your way this week… Designer Lisa Frank (who is renowned for her vibrant designs and whimsical characters) has teamed up with Morphe to create a bright and bold palette, six-piece brush set and sponge set. The bumper 35-pan palette includes a kaleidoscopic collection of colour, packed in holographic casing, complete with a heart-shaped mirror. Dreamy!

INCLUSIVITY IS KEY

A brand new Stockholm-based skincare brand with inclusivity at its core, Melyon was created by model Roger Dupé, who was taught early on that skincare is a form of self-love. Vegan, ecological, paraben-free and cruelty-free, the formulas which have a base of nutrient-rich baobab oil were created with darker skin tones in mind, however, Dupé says they are unisex, and suitable for all. With a philosophy of less is more you’ll find just four core products in the range – a milk cleanser, a detox serum, a day and a night cream.
